Lee's Christmas Party
The Christmas Party was great as it always is. I even got Gavin to sleep during the festivities. I love the Santa pic with Gavin sleeping in the background. He woke shortly after I took that pic so I'm happy I caught the moment! And I can't help but love how happy both of my children are with Santa.... Gavin being the most joyous.. Haha! Grandma Lee (aka Santa's little elf) Makes a gift for everyone, every year! She has like 10 kids and all of them had kids and then their kids have had kids... That is one BIG Christmas list! This year Gavin received a neat wooden car, and Austin got a crayola carrier complete with note book and crayons. The upper pic on the right is Austin, Gavin and 2nd cousin Aaron enjoying Gavin's gift. They played really well with each other. So between the crafts, sleeping, food, and slide show our day was consumed with family fun!

November
This was written on 12/30/2011
So many things to play catch up on! But we knew I would be like that anyway! End of the year is always a hard time to keep your schedule in order. Someone and somethings always fall through the crack for me! Sorry to all those is affected! I thought i would just do a quick summary of Thanksgiving and Christmas and a few things that happened in between and hopefully that will help me feel like I'm not slacking too much!
1- The boys went out side and played in the leaves. As you can see they didn't play IN the leaves but hit the pile with sticks. How is it that I got the boys that don't like to get dirty?
2- We had our first legit snow storm in November (though we haven't had one since!) This is Andrew trying to make a basket with the snowball he made.
3- Same night as #2- Gavin couldn't decided if we wanted to watch the movie, Letters or go outside to play. He finally decided to come out with the rest of us only to watch the movie from the window.( I forgot to turn it off.)
4- Ammon, Gideon, and Austin working on Thanksgiving activities, which I think they enjoyed even though the activities were WAY to easy for Ammon and Gideon. They were sports and helped Austin out. :)
5- Black Friday! I love Black Friday! To show how much I LOVE black Friday the last 2 years I went pregnant (not counting this year) once 5 months along and the other 5 days overdue! See how crazy I am for it? We went this year with Mana, Emily, Chad, Mitchell and myself (in pic) and Andrew who is taking the picture. Now one thing that is associated with Black Friday is the crazy things people will do to get the 5 dollar toaster or whatever. I had never witnessed any of this behavior first hand until this year. And let me tell you I didn't like it! We were in line at Shopko and the doors were just about to open. To those that have gone know that when the doors are about to open everyone naturally moves in all nice and close and push a little bit to the door. Now a guy in front of us didn't like that. Obviously he had NEVER been to one. He got mad and hit back towards the crowd hitting me across the sternum. If it weren't for the group of people behind me I would have fallen to the ground. After that we made it through the doors were he grabs my husband (who had moved ahead of me and the angry man since he was off to the side of the man.) Yelling "Did you push me? If so I'm going to knock you out!" At least something like that... My husband responds Quickly saying "No!" Which was true. The guy lets him go and mumbles to himself saying if anyone pushes me again I swear..... Fun huh? I do not wish that to happen EVER again.
I blame this event on Walmart, Kohl's and Shopko. Why? Because they opened SO much earlier than "normal". Not only did it leak into Thanksgiving which is already quickly done and over starting Christmas immediately, but it made it so people who wouldn't have bothered before stay up a little later and added to the already chaotic event. The angry man obviously had never gone to one of these before and didn't know how to conduct himself properly. I plead that they don't do this to us again next year! Keep Black Friday on FRIDAY. Crazy idea huh?
Sorry I'll get off my soap box...
Lastly, 6- This is a bunch of my family watching my dad play with his helicopter at the church house gym. We also played a lot of basketball! My favorite :) There is no better sport in my opinion. all those pics I took turned out really blurry so they didn't make it on here.

Austin's Birthday Party
Austin turned 3 this year. We decided to invite the older kids from the nursery and of course Daimian! It was fun and crazy with all those kids and parents in our basement as seen in #2. We played bean bag toss. There are some of the kids lined up for it in #1.
#3 We made a cake and cupcakes to share. The cake we decorated with sprinkles. Considering we did that free hand I was so impressed! Way ta go Andrew!
#4- Speaking of Andrew, he also drew the train onto the cardboard. I have no artistic ability so I take advantage of Andrew whenever I can!
We also used the letters as a train track and did a "cake walk" with small prizes. Everyone seemed to enjoy it a good amount.
It was nice to get so many people over that we had been meaning to really meet and have over. Now we just need to be good and invite them back over for play dates!
