Love this blanket I made. It is so long it can wrap around him 3 times. He won’t be able to break the burrito for a LONG time.

I made some things for the craft blog. (still haven’t posted anything there yet either!) Andrew helped me take pictures. I think he might be mocking me.

Grandpa horsey. They have so much fun with grandpa. Sadly, This was probably the last time they get to do this. Grandpas back is hurting so much now. He has to take breaks all the time.

April

April has been a busy month. We had Gavin’s birthday, and the baby blessing for Jordan, and lots of family outings.

Andrew and all of us went to his Mission reunion. This is the first one he has gone to since we have been married. We stopped by Temple square before heading there. We didn’t take any pics at the reunion but it had good food and everyone just LOVED our baby. Andrew got to play Dominions with 3 of the guys there. Later that week Andrew taught me “real” Dominions.

Gavin’s birthday was so fun. We were going to give him a b-day party last year but Andrew’s sister was married 2 days before his birthday. So we decided it would be to hard to do that for him so we said this year we would. So this year we had Jordan’s baby blessing 2 days after his birthday. I decided that we would just do it and have an extremely busy week. Honestly, I think it was better to do it that way. I only had to do 1 huge clean up for both events. We had hotdogs, made sport necklaces, opened gifts, had cake and threw balls into the buckets for points. It was entertaining to say the least. I was so surprised how calm all those 3-4 year olds were during the necklace making. It was the quietest during that time! I think there were about 10 there? and they didn’t make a mess of the beads. They kept them in their different color compartments. The perfectionist in me thanks you!

Why in PJ’s you wonder? In all the commotion of the party we forgot to give Gavin his B-day present from us! I can’t believe me. so at about 9 at night Gavin got his hotwheels track and his very own beyblades (he is obsessed with them)

As some of you may remember our basement flooded in October. Yes, I’m bring up October. My craft room has been ripped up and disbursed through out my house for over 6 month (at this point). We got the new drywall on and mudded it mostly and then it just sat there forever! Well we got the carpet down and put some tables in there and a bunch of toys. It made an awesome place for the kids that came to the baby blessing to have a place to play. If Andrew was on top of it and had my room all fixed up I wouldn’t have had that space available. Unforeseen blessings I guess. ;) Here are some picture of our little stud on his day and others.

Fun Story about the picture below. Mitchell, Andrew’s little brother, was talking to us about something. I have no idea now, maybe school? As he was talking Jordan just kept giving HUGE smiles at Mitchell. It was so distracting. I tried to catch the moment. This smile was small compared to the others. He is a fan Mitchell’s voice. At least someone is ;) kidding. :)

2: Read all Jensen outlet books-  18 more to go. I took a break and read what I wanted to. I read The Help, Janitors (went to school with the author), Dealing with Dragons, and The Matched trilogy. It was nice but now I got to get back to it. Sorry Uglies you will have to wait.
3: Get back to pre-baby weight, then -10 pounds- Andrew and I are going to start this THIS week. Here’s to getting my body back!
4: Go to Washington D.C.
*5: Ride on a passenger train- Didn’t realize I hadn’t done that until our trip to Virginia. It was so much fun!

P1010774
6: Stop late night sweets. Nothing after 9- getting better not perfect yet!
7: Organize pictures
8: Get Andrew back to the D.R.- unsure if this will be able to happen :(
9: Re learn French and better than before- I got duolingo on my phone. It’s coming back to me though slowly.
10: Make decorations for all Holidays
11: Learn to dance with Husband
12: Do my Continuing Education points for AAMA
*13: Organize craft room- I just got this back and So much needs to be done with it. Can’t wait! We just got my purple pegboard up. :)
14: Catch a fish- This summer I promise!
*15: Start Prereq courses for Nursing- had to change to start. Honestly, even if I was on top of it. I still wouldn’t have been able to finish them in the time allotted.
16: Make a full outfit for myself, by myself.
17: Finish a crossword puzzle- it might have been a crossword on the back of a cereal box but at least I got it done!

18: Go rock climbing

28: Build a sand structure or snow structure  (and it actually looks like what it should)P1010488
29: Finish my 18,000 piece puzzle.- We had a flood in my craft room so this had to be put away. I’m enjoying just getting that part of my house back! I’ll get the puzzle back out at the start of the new year.
30: Do Temple work in all Utah temples- We haven’t added any new temple visits this year! I guess we got to get on this or I won’t complete it!!

So that puts me at 10 out of 30! I am going to be having a VERY busy and fun year!
