My Memory Suite Giveaway
That's right a giveaway on my blog! I couldn't believe it when I received the email a few weeks ago. I was able to download this awesome program and play around with it. It is so user-friendly and it's so easy to navigate around the program. I have never used a digital scrapbook program EVER. So I was surprised how quickly I was able to make something simple. I still need to play around with it more to make more complex pages (I like the looks of those!)but here's a page I made for Canada Day this year.
Please go check out what other people made with this amazing program at their website. My example doesn't give it justice to what it can do. I will show a few more projects that are better.
Now for the best news! I get to give one to one of my readers (yes, it could be YOU) a MyMemoriesSuite of their very own! This is a 40 dollar value. How cool is that? How to enter you ask?

For Extra entries:

Numbers
Today we worked on our numbers. I started us out with drawing a hopscotch board on the cement with sidewalk chalk. We went over the number together and then lined up and the side. I'd call out a number and they would go and search for it.
Sometimes they got confused.....
I think I called 4 for that one above.
But they did have fun.
After I had them go inside and I gave them 10 skittles each. We counted them and then they could eat 1 skittle, and counted again. They REALLY loved the eating part! Soon I hope Austin will get better at counting but I think today helped it out!

Rock pets
I saw this idea on the Martha Stewart site and thought it looked fun and cheap to do. Rock pets. First we went and search out for THE best rocks, and then choose out colors. Add Paint, paint and paint.
While we waited for them to dry, Corinne taught the boys about sinking and floating with a lava rock and a regular rock.
They loved throwing them in and seeing what would happen. After the paint dried we used e6000 glue and put out pets together. Sadly this was right when we had to leave so I never got the finished picture but Austin's duck turned out awesome we just need to paint little face on it.
